First Seed Order of the Gardening Season Arrives!

It can make you feel like a kid again.

Few deliveries have occasioned as much joy as the one I received today.

After returning from lunch I found two big Johnny’s Seeds boxes waiting for me on my office floor.

I’m really impressed with how fast I received my Johnny’s Seeds order since I only made my online order the Wednesday evening before the Good Friday holiday.

Receiving my order today (the following Monday) is truly awesome!

Kudos to the folks at Johnny’s (even if their shipping department folks may not have enjoyed the Good Friday holiday as much as I did). I’m very tempted to go home and start a few seed trays tonight.

Rushing to planting before doing more garden layout planning certainly would satisfy my seed high, but I know I should wait so I don’t under- and over- plant. After all, the urban gardener really can’t afford to be unmindful of space limitations.

I think I’ll open my Johnny’s Seed boxes tomorrow, to prolong the anticipation a day longer.
